Calice piccolo a tulipano
Wild Muscat from late harvest.
Territory of Ruvo di Puglia in a hilly area.
Bush-trained.
First decade of November.
The grapes dried on the vine are immediately taken to the cellar and subjected to destemming and crushing, then cooled to 10°, followed by a brief maceration in the press for 4/6 hours to extract the aromas from the skins. The free-run juice is collected for fermentation in barriques where the wine ages for about 6 months on the lees. It is then placed in steel where it rests for about 2 months before bottling.
Straw reflections and delicate golden nuances in the glass. Candied orange, chamomile, reinette apples, and cotton candy laid on an aromatic herbal carpet. On the palate, citrus and delicate orange blossoms return. The fruity trail in the finish is rich and fresh.
