Nero di Troia – Primitivo.
Selected vineyards in the Ruvo di Puglia area, on the limestone hills of Alta Murgia.
Spurred cordon.
Between the first decade of September and the second half of October.
The grapes, harvested manually, are taken to the cellar for cluster selection and subsequent destemming and crushing. After pre-fermentation maceration at controlled temperature, the must is left to ferment with selected yeasts in steel for 7/10 days. Subsequently, it is softly pressed. The wine ages for 10 months in oak barrels before being bottled and marketed.
This wine with an intense, impenetrable red color reveals a bouquet of vigorous aromas on the nose, among which blackberry and plum stand out. On the palate, it is round and full-bodied, with an elegant structure that defines its character. The tannin teases the taste and leaves room for a balsamic finish.
