Pure Primitivo.
Selected vineyards in the Ruvo di Puglia area, on the limestone hills of Alta Murgia.
Spurred cordon with an intensity of 5,000 vines per hectare.
First decade of September.
The grapes, freshly hand-picked from the vineyards, are brought to the winery for careful selection of the bunches and subsequent crushing and destemming. The fermentation maceration phase begins in steel for 8/10 days at 25°. Subsequently, the must is gently pressed and, still in steel, malolactic fermentation occurs. Aging continues in steel and bottle before commercialization.
Deep and impenetrable red color. Its olfactory intensity characterizes it and reveals its grape variety, offering a fruity bouquet of plum and cherries in spirit, blueberry jam, spicy notes, and unmistakable scents of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is structured, warm, rightly tannic, soft, and well-modulated with depth of sip and good drinkability.
