Pure Nero di Troia.
Territory of Ruvo di Puglia, limestone hills of the Murgia.
Spurred cordon with a planting density of 4,000 vines per hectare.
The grapes, freshly harvested, are taken to the winery for cluster selection and subsequent destemming. A pre-fermentation maceration is then carried out at controlled temperature for 24/48 hours, then the must is left to ferment in steel for 7/10 days, always at controlled temperature. After racking, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and then a brief passage in barriques before bottling. After a few months in the bottle, it is marketed.
Ruby red color with vermilion hues. Cherries and sour cherries stand out among the ripe red fruits. The smooth tannin and decisive freshness interpret the balance and character of this wine, which finishes long and persistent, with delicately balsamic notes.
