The grapes, freshly harvested, are taken to the winery for cluster selection and subsequent destemming and crushing. A pre-fermentation maceration at controlled temperature is carried out for 24/48 hours, then the must is left to ferment with selected yeasts in steel for 7/10 days. Subsequently, it is softly pressed. Still in steel, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before a brief aging in barrique. After bottling, it spends a few months in glass before being marketed.
Seductive and intriguing ruby red color. Elegant floral scent of slightly wilted violet. Blackberries, blueberries, and sour cherries intertwine with the typical notes of cinchona and graphite of the grape variety while, in the background, spices, undergrowth, and dark tobacco emerge. Warm taste and vigorous tannic texture. Finishes persistent on fruity and toasted notes.
