At the 27th edition of the Berliner Wein Trophy, the gold medal was awarded to Neia – Nero di Troia Rosé Puglia IGP.
The Berliner Wein Trophy is the largest international wine competition (under the patronage of the OIV, International Organisation of Vine and Wine, and the UIOE, International Union of Oenologists) and each year welcomes an increasing number of wine producers and distributors from all over the world.
The prestige of the BWT medal is enhanced by the fact that only 30% of the products tasted are awarded by the jury, and the members of the Ruvo di Puglia Winery can only be proud of the recognition received at this edition.
The gold medal honors Neia, the pure Nero di Troia vinified as a rosé using the innovative reduction technique, a 2023 novelty from Crifo’s production dedicated to organized large-scale distribution along with the label Nerodivo (a blend of Nero di Troia and Primitivo), and all the work that the Winery has been advancing in recent years in terms of research, innovation, and sustainability.
