THAT’S A GOLD MEDAL FOR CRIFO ROSÉ BUBBLES AT THE “SAKURA JAPAN WOMEN’S WINE AWARDS”
An all-female jury awarded the “Gold Medal” to our brand Crifo’s Cryfus Easy Vino Spumante Rosato Extra Dry. Our sparkling wine won this prestigious recognition among 4,333 labels from around the world.
The Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards are among the most important Japanese wine events and are internationally recognized for their uniqueness. Conceived and organized by Yumi Tanabe, a renowned wine expert worldwide, the event involves over three hundred “women wine” professionals selected from sommeliers, industry journalists, entrepreneurs, and actresses.
This project is a well-deserved acknowledgment of the creativity of women from the Land of the Rising Sun in pairing the “nectar of Bacchus” with their traditional cuisine. It’s noteworthy that there are over 8,000 female sommeliers in Japan and that the audience for tasting courses is predominantly female (about 80% on average). Consistently, the consumption trend indicates that wine is becoming a must at Japanese banquets, during Christmas, New Year, and other national celebrations.
The Crifo wine awarded in this prestigious international competition belongs to the “Cryfus” sparkling line, which includes a white and a rosé extra dry, a sweet Moscato Puglia IGP VSQA, and two Castel del Monte VSQDOP white and rosé extra dry.
