The CMB panels, composed of industry experts representing forty-five nationalities, awarded a shining gold medal to Augustale Castel del Monte Nero di Troia Riserva DOCG, a wine with a ruby red color, aromas of red fruits, and woody notes; a silver to Fuorilemura Nero di Troia Rosé with a pale color and bright reflections, good acidity that offers a surprising explosion of tropical fruits on the palate; a second silver to Terre del Crifo Nero di Troia Puglia IGP, a wine with an intense red color, enveloping aromas of red fruits, and a spicy flavor.
The members of the Cantina di Ruvo di Puglia are especially proud of the recognition received by the newest addition to the Crifo range: Fuorilemura Nero di Troia Rosé. The award, in fact, confirms the quality of the work being done in terms of research and innovation, which in this wine is expressed through the use of carbonic maceration.
