To reward the great commitment that the Cantina di Ruvo di Puglia cooperative has shown in the field of sustainability for years, the “Sustainable Winery” certification has been awarded according to the international EQUALITAS SOPD standard, granted by the Qualified Certification Body DNV.
What is the Equalitas certification
Equalitas is a Sustainability Certification evaluated on an ethical-social, environmental, and economic scale, awarded after a rigorous process of adjustments and checks conducted over the past six months under the supervision of the independent body DNV. The “founders” of the initiative are: Federdoc (the Confederation of the Consortia for the protection of Italian wine DOCs), Csqa Certificazioni and Valoritalia (two of the leading entities for certifications in the wine sector), Fondazione Gambero Rosso, 3A Vino.
What the Equalitas certification means for our cooperative
